If I coudl vote, I would choose Mike Huckabee. For president, I definately wanted a man who had religious background. According to this page, http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/Vote2008/page?id=3393725, it says he earned his masters at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Also before this he graduated from Oauchita Baptist University in Arkansas. It also says that he had a passion for preaching, and he pervailed. He served as the youngest ever president of Arkansas Baptist State Convention. With this information, I’m almost positive he does have a religious background. This was said by Huckabeee ” My faith is my life, it defines me”.
Also some issues that Huckabee brings, are immigration. He says he wants to secure the American Border. I’m very thankful for this. Also, he isn’t a believer in gay marriages. I really like this guy, and I hope he wins!!!
