Myspace

I’m sure 90% of you reading this blog post right now, either have had a myspace, have a myspace, or have at least heard of myspace before! If you’ve experienced with myspace at all, you might agree or disagree with me! First of all, myspace is nothing but a website full of teenage drama. The top 4’s-top 20 friend list, is nothing but a way of causing drama with your friends. “On so and so’s myspace I’m  there number one, and on mine there only number 8. ” These are the type of things going on, on myspace. Hurtful things that wouldn’t be said to some-one’s face, are being messaged and commented on there friends myspace. I personally do have a myspace, but I do try to avoid getting on it. I deleted it for about 3-4 months, and now I have it back. Myspace is very time consuming and can take up and waste a lot of your free time if you let it. One of the positive factors of myspace, is it can be used as an email, to keep in contact with old friends that dont’ live near or to keep in touch with family. I would be very cautious if you have a myspace, not to let it consume to much of your time, and to stay away from the drama factor of it.

Senior Banquet Shoes!

Senior Banquet is approaching very quickly! Next Friday is the big day! This weekend me and my friend Emily are going shopping, probabally in Roanoke for Senior Banquet Shoes! My dress is white, with a little bit of black on the bottom, so I thought black shoes would look the best with it! Then again, I’m not really sure, I might stick with white to. I want a strappy shoe, because my dress hits me a few inches above my ankles. Here are a few examples of what I’m looking for.

New Covenant

Cha lady knights have a game today! We are playing our hardest team of the season. We will advance in our ranking if we win tonight. We definately can. We need to focus on our passing and our touches on the ball. We also need to make sure we’re hydrated because it’s going to be very hott! Coach Chris told us to be thinking about the game and our positiions throughout the day. I’m fully confident we can win. YOU SHOULD DEFINATELY COME! CHA 5:00! What wins games? DEFENSE! Our defense must be on top of our game! Come and support!

Idol Gives Back

Last night American Idol did a fundraising for needy children called Idol Gives Back. Different stars of all kinds came on the show, and spoke about there experience with needy children and how lucky we are. It showed several clips of Paula Abdul, and other stars, who went and played with children who have nothing. Even America has places that deals with poverty. A place in California, the kids won’t even go outside because of the danger of gangs. Several stars performed on stage, and sang, and even the Manning brothers came on air, to talk about giving money. The American Idol finals of last night, took phone calls from all over, if you wanted to give. I thought it was neat, although they  left the Christ atmonsphere completely out of it! They place a Christian song, and took the part that said Jesus, and changed it to shephard. This is actually really sad, when you think about it.

Tie Knot Flatts

I found these flatts at Charlotte Russe, and I think they are adorable! There the perfect color, and the right shoe to wear with a springy skirt! The only size you can get them in is a 7. It’s really frustrating because I can’t order my size off the internet because they only list size seven, and they only have like size 6 in the store!

2nd Conference Soccer Game

It is Thursday, April 03,2008. It is also our 2nd conference soccer game! We are 0-1. We’ve lost our first conference game, which happened to be our hardest game in the season. We scrimaged Franklin County Jv Girls Monday, and we lost in the last 5 min. It was zero, to zero, until they came and scored 2 goals in the last five-10 min. Honestly, today, I think we will win. We play Faith Roanoke. I know for a fact, we could have beat our first conference game. I really want to pull through and get first at states! Allright mroe updates will come later!

Spring Break

sad sad day… It’s Monday March 31, Spring Break is over, and I’m back in school. ewww. I’m so tired of school. anyways this post is to write about my events of spring break not complain on how i’m back at school.

Friday of our first day of spring break, I worked. I had a soccer game the night before in Lynchburg, and I was so exhausted to wake up the next morning and go to work. I worked all day and then I hung out that night. Saturday I also worked. Sunday was Easter Sunday, so I went to 11:00 church and then back to grandma’s for Easter Dinner! It was DELICIOUS! Monday I had soccer from 11-1:30, after that I went to Roanoke with my friend Erica Smith! We shopped and just hung out in Roanoke. Tuesday was the ONLY day i coudl sleep in. After sleeping in I went to grandma’s all day, because Tuesday is our day with grandma, and mom wanted me to come all day and be with her! Well that closes the first half of my spring break!

 Wednesday, I got up EARLY and went to North Carolina with my mom, to go Senior Banquet Dress Shopping. I shopped all day in Haynes Mall, and I finally found THE dress! I love it. After I got back Wednesday, I helped Colby hand out his soccer cookie dough fund raisor, and then I went to volleyball to surprise by sister MAGGIE! Finally I got home at like 10-10:30 ish, and I talked on the phone till like 11-ish. Thursday-Saturday I worked 9:30-5:30. I can’t complain because I’m getting paid, but It can get over welming! Sunday I went to church and then helped serve in the kitchen because my mom is in charge of the meals served at church. We served Lasagna bread and applesauce! Then we had the congregration bring in deserts. It was delicious! After that me Cricker, Alison and Alec went on a Samurai ride in the MUD! IT was a BLAST!! After that I went over to Alec’s grandparetns house and ate dinner with them! It was a pretty busy day I’d say! Well now it’s Monday and i’m back at school! That closes my final spring break. For the most part it was very work-ish. I worked a ton I felt, but like I said I can’t complain. I know I’ll be happy to get that paycheck!

 From now on until the end of the year, I will be working to maintain a’s and b’s on my report card, working like a workaholic, and playing soccer! Well that’s all for now!

1st Soccer Game Thursday!

Our first game is tomorrow! We play one of the hardest teams in our season. We’ve beet them once and that was at States. I really hope we can do well. Coach says we’re definately ready! He says to rest tonight, and eat good, and be ready mentally for the game Thursday! You should come help and support.. It’s at New Covenant in Lynchburg Va at 5:30! I think we’re ready! Wel I’ll update after Spring Break! Hope all has an awesome break!

Plans for Spring Break

Spring Break…Well where do I begin? There are several things I’m going to focus on during Spring Break. I definately will catch up on my SLEEP, but aside from that here are a few things I will be doing over break.

The one thing I’m going to focus on for Spring Break is finding, and purchasing a senior banquet dress. Senior banquet is April 25. I want to find a PURPLE one, or a WHTIE one! I think me and mom will probabally head up to North Carolina to one of the malls up there near Greensboro. I think it will probabally be a mom and daughter day. I thought about having a girlfriend come with me, but I’m pretty sure I’ll go to Roanoke over Spring Break shopping and I decided I could take someone with me then. I’m excited about being able to spend a day with my amazing mom!

I will also probabally most likely, be working over break! Hopefully I’ll work at least 2 or 3 days and then have the rest off! I’m really hoping I will get paid before I head to North Caolina. I might even see if my aunt needs any help with her kids, and then I’ll definately help Grandma on Tuesdays!

Easter Sunday is this Sunday, and we will be on Break! I’m excited to celebrate Jesus’s resurction. Sunday at church we will have communion, and we will also have a delicious meal following the service! It’s a fun time of fellowship and GREAT FOOD!!

The final activity I will focus on over Spring Break is hanging out with friends that I haven’t gotten to be with in a while!  Well I’m hoping my Spring Break will be a relaxing one, and the way it looks I think it will be.

Mylie Cyrus

She was born on November 23,1992. She’s the daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus. She is 14 years old, and she is getting ready to host CMT music awards with her father. She plays a role as Hannah Montanna on Disney. Personally I like her. I think she’s funny. I hope she doesn’t get like the other celebritys’ and go crazy. I don’t think she will. Anyways here’s a little news on Mylie Cryus. Also, if you heard she was pregnant, it was definately a scam. Someone made it up on the internet and she’s defiantely not! Allrighty that’s all for now!
